Mix it Up Crochet Scarf Pattern

I love designing crochet scarves, and they are my go-to project whenever I want to crochet something. So, this infinity scarf was a pattern I was excited to work on.

I named this scarf the Mix it Up Crochet Scarf because of the use of different but easy crochet stitches throughout the design, which you’ll find out below are easy ones!

The Yarn

I used Woolspun by Lion Brand yarn which is a soft cozy bulky five yarn. It is a little hard to come by, but it is worth it when you find it!

If you can’t find it, Color Made Easy by Lion Brand is a great substitute.

Woolspun

This yarn is made by Lion Brand, and is a Weight 5 – Bulky yarn.

If you haven’t worked with this Lion Brand Woolspun yarn, it’s a wonderful bulky size 5 wool and acrylic blend and is some of the softest yarn I’ve worked with. It is a must-try when you want to crochet a scarf.

Plus, this simple scarf pattern requires only four skeins of yarn and works up very quickly.

  1. Hi Krista your patterns and photos seem to be muddled up on Pinterest the cowl here is labelled with a beanie on at least 1 pin on Pinterest and William and Emily are mislabelled too. Quite confusing.

    1. Hi Lin,

  2. Making your mix it up crochet scarf. Chaining 114 only gets me to about 36 inches. Can you suggest another number of chains to get closer to 60 inch circumference? Thanks
