  1. Krista,
I’m now starting my third scarfket. Needless to say I love the pattern. I used Wool & The Gang Cotton for one & Malabrigo yarn for the other, which worked up perfectly. Thank you so much for the pattern.
    Best,
    jude

  2. When I start with an I it’ll chain of 38, I end up with an 8 inch item. Could you please .w what I’m doing g wrong? J hook, medium. Weight yarn.

    1. Hi Lynn,
It sounds like the gauge is off. I would suggest using a larger hook or crocheting more loosely to get the suggested gauge, which is approx 5 stitches per 2″. Or you could always just add more starting ch’s if you’d like. To make different sizes of this crochet wrap, use a multiple starting ch of 18 then add 2 to whatever length you have chosen.

If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them.

  3. The pattern is lovely. I would like to make a blanket, what would be the stitch multiple if available? thank you.

  4. FYI: You left the * off on Row 2 that shows where to repeat again.

Also, I had to use a size K crochet hook to keep my work smooth. I tried with the Size J hook as suggested but it was too bunched up. It was because of the yarn I was using. I think the Vanna’s Choice must be a smoother yarn and perhaps would glide along the suggested size hook much better!

Thanks for the nice patterns that you provide for all of us crochet addicts!

  5. I love this pattern and am nearly done with my first wrap. I plan to make more. I so enjoy all your designs. Keep up the good work.

  6. Just to clarify, on row 2 the repeat begin with this part: hdc once in each of the next 3 st’s, hdc the next 2 st’s together, hdc once in each of the next 3 st’s, 2 hdc’s in the next st, repeat from *

    Is that correct?

Great pattern. I would like to make it into a afghan!

  9. Do you please have the length and width of this finished wrap? I’d like to make a blanket using this pattern. I realize I can figure out the adjustments myself but am mostly interested in the finished width.. Thank you

  10. Perfect timing!! I’ve been wanting to make a wrap for Spring for myself. Then my mother (who resides in assisted living) just told me she needs a light lap blanket – this is the perfect pattern. Thank you
