No Color Changing in This Pattern
The best part about this easy crochet shawl pattern (or wrap) is that you won’t ever have to change yarn colors at all! The Mandala Baby Yarn from Lion Brand Yarn is the perfect yarn for this project since it gradually changes colors, and there are no ends to weave in. Doesn’t that sound great?
The Yarn That I Used for This Wrap
I decided on the colorway Echo Caves because I love any shade of blue, but there are so many beautiful choices to pick from if you’d like something different.

You can check out the different color choices available on their website. “Click Here” to check them out. There are so many pretty colorways to choose from! Have fun picking a color! 🙂
Learn How to Crochet a Wrap Today!
The key part to remember about this wrap pattern is that you start each row with 2 double crochets in the same st and end each row with 3 double crochets at the top of the turning chains. It is pretty easy once you get the hang of it and remember you can do this!

Greetings!
I am interested in making the Ombre Crochet Triangle Wrap. I have encountered a problem in row 2. There are only 12 double crochets in the row, even though the pattern says there should be 16. I have not been able to get passed the 2nd row because I’m not sure how it came up with 16 as it is written. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Maggie,
The ch 1’s in the rows and the ch 3’s at the beginning of the rows count as stitches as well. I updated the notes’ section of the pattern to make it clearer than before. If you need any clarification, please let me know. Happy Crocheting!

I love that you included the chart as well. I tend to use them more often if possible.
Thanks Valori! I am so glad you like it!
Happy Crocheting!

I have now finished two versions of your rainbow crochet blanket and they were so fun and easy! I tend to crochet tight, so I chained 100 each time to start and used a K hook for the second one (instead of a J hook) to make it a bit bigger. Thanks for an awesome pattern!
You are welcome Kari! So glad you liked it! 🙂

This is beautiful! I’ve pinned it for later. This is definitely something I’m going to try. It’s just that I’m a slow crocheter, so it takes me awhile to get to a new project. Thank you for these clear instructions and photos!
Thank you Dawn! I am so glad you like it! If you have any questions when you start please feel free to ask! 🙂
