Raffia Summer Crochet Bag

Easy beginner friendly crochet raffia bag pattern. It is a great summer accessory for any occasion – walk at the beach or a shopping trip to town.

I used raffia yarn which creates the classic summer straw bag look.

The finished bag measures 30cm deep x 26 cm wide.

I used 3 balls of raffia yarn in total. the bag is worked with the yarn held double to make it a bit more sturdy.

I used 7 mm crochet hook and added leather straps to create a classic tote design you can wear over your shoulder.
