Chunky Cozy Crochet Cowl :: Easy Crochet

The Pattern

I loved All About Ami’s Triple Luxe Cowl so much that I made a few different versions for myself!! You will love how easy this is to crochet and the way it works up so fast!

The texture this half double crochet stitch makes is amazing!! (featured in Cranberry)

And it looks pretty in blue too!! (featured in Aquamarine)

The Yarn

I used Woolspun by Lion Brand which is a cozy yarn and is considered a bulky 5 weight yarn. If you love chunky yarn then you’ll probably love this one for sure!

Cozy Crochet Cowl :: Easy Crochet

I am working on one right now in Light Grey heather for a friend and will post a picture when I am done!!

NOTE: All the featured scarfs above were made with Woolspun by Lion Brand Yarn and followed along exactly with All about Ami’s Pattern.

Cozy Crochet Cowl :: Easy Crochet

The version above was made using Lion Brand Yarn Hometown USA Yarn in Chicago Charcoal and with a starting chain of only 60.

Again, to make these for yourself you will need to follow along with All about Ami with the pattern for the Triple Luxe Cowl.

What size hook did you use with the Lion Brand hometown yarn?

Hi Krista, For this cowl, when you used Lion Brand’s Hometown USA yarn, how many balls did you use?

Hi! This was a long time ago so I am not quite sure but from the picture it looks like two. Hometown balls are only 81 yards so I am guessing I needed more than one.
