Tidal Textures Throw Crochet Pattern

The Tidal Textures Blanket comes in 2 sizes:

  • Throw size: approximately 135 cm / 53” wide by 160 cm / 63” long
  • Lapghan size: approximately 110 cm / 43.25” wide by 137 cm / 54” long

The blanket is made out of 6 different strip patterns worked on top of eachother (no joining or sewing here!) and the border is then worked in the round around the blanket.

Designed in 3 main colors plus a neutral contrast color, the blanket can easily be worked up in just one or up to 7 colors. Making it a great scrap buster project.

Each section is separated with a simple contrast color divider section to add uniformity and a give the blanket a modern look.

The blanket is designed with worsted weight (category 4) wool blend yarn.

The gauge for this blanket is 12 st for a 10 cm by 10 cm / 4” by 4” square. The row height gauge is different for every section, refer to the individual pattern sections below.

The Blanket is designed with a 6 mm / US J – 10 crochet hook.
