The blanket is worked flat from bottom up with alternating blocks of hyacinth stitch pattern and stockinette stitch for the length of the project.
The blanket has a border of garter stitch (knit every row) on left and right side as well as bottom and top edge.
For gauge swatch, CO multiple of 12 plus 11 sts (if making a swatch with garter stitch border, add 5 sts on each side).
