Sanger Chunky Hat

This is a free crochet pattern for a super comfortable and chunky crochet beanie. Keep warm in the winter months with this super stylish and easy-to-wear beanie for women.

It is worked bottom up starting with the brim using bulky weight yarn.

The main body stitch is a super fun modification of the crossed double crochet stitches. It amazes me how such a simple twist in the stitch combination can completely change the finished look of the beanie.

The stitch combination with the chunky yarn used makes for a super quick and easy make. Once you work up the body, you will cinch the top of the beanie. You can add a faux fur or yarn pom pom to the top of your hat.
