Rising Sun Crochet Bag

It is an easy pattern creating a lovely bag that will have so many uses! Use it as a project bag for your current WIP or pack some stuff when you heading down to the beach.
This pattern lends itself to so many different colour combinations!

It uses @ 2/3 of a 100 g ball of DK yarn in 3 different colours.
It would also be a perfect stash buster if you wanted to use up all your scraps and make the bag really colourful!

The name Rising Sun Bag pattern came from the sun-resembling combination of the stitches as well as the yarn color.

The round shape of this bag comes from the two circles which I used to create this simple crochet bag. You will crochet these identical circles separately. Secondly, a long strip of fabric is crocheted which is then sewn between the two circles. This way, the strip joins the circles as well as create bottom and sides to the bag.
