Modwen Baby Blanket

The Modwen Baby Blanket is a beautiful Tunisian crochet baby blanket item that is a pleasure to make and a pleasure to use. It features an interesting woven like pattern that is crocheted in columns using 3 colours and join as you go technique.

This is a fun project for when you would like to work colourwork but not having to have more than 2 balls of yarn on the go at any one time! The chunky weight yarn makes it an amazing project that can be whipped up in a few evenings!

To create this beautiful Tunisian crochet baby blanket you will need to master (or already know) these stitches and techniques:

Chain, Tunisian crochet technique (alternating forward and return passes), Tunisian simple stitch (tss), Tunisian slip stitch (tslst), Tunisian simple stitch bind-off, blocking.
