This headband or ear warmer (depending on what you call it) is simple to make and stylish for fall! Read on down to find the full free pattern for the crochet button heart headband!

Crochet Button Heart Headband Pattern
Skill Level: Easy
Materials
- Yarn (your choice!!) I used a lightweight cotton yarn (4)
- Size J Crochet Hook
- Yarn Needle
- Button

The Heart & Headband Pattern
The Heart Pattern Steps
- Use my heart tutorial here.
- {Useful Tip} Leave a long tail when starting your heart. You will use it to attach the button later!!
The Headband Pattern Steps
- Row 1: Chain 13, Double Crochet in 3rd Chain from hook, Double Crochet in every stitch across.Chain 2, Turn.
- Row 2: Half Double Crochet in first st, Half Double Crochet across in Back Loops Only. Chain 3, Turn.
- Row 3: Double Crochet in first st, Double Crochet Across in Back Loops Only. Chain 2, Turn.
- Repeat Rows 2 & 3 until desired length is reached.
- {Useful Tip:} Measure the person who you are making this for as you are crocheting it to ensure a proper fit.
- Crochet Together two the two shorts ends of headband using slip stitches across.
Finishing: Weave in loose ends with yarn needle, and attach heart with yarn in desired position on headband.
